You’ll likely first notice the 2026 Expedition Tremor thanks to its bold exterior design. Tremor models gain a unique grille along with “Electric Spice” orange trim elements, which help add some visual “pop,” especially on the 18-inch dark-finished alloy wheels. 

Looks mean little without capability to match. Fortunately, Expedition Tremor delivers on its off-road intentions. All-terrain tires and a substantial 10.6 inches of ground clearance certainly help it venture into the unknown, as does the Terrain Response System, which can configure various systems to the conditions at hand – including rocky terrain. There’s plenty of power, thanks to a 440-horsepower twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V-6, which also helps Expedition Tremor tow up to 9,300 pounds, perfect for getting away for the weekend with a camper or ATV in tow. 

Inside, Electric Spice accents dress up the already upscale interior while providing a visual link to the Tremor’s exterior. Figuratively and literally, the big attraction within is Expedition’s 24-inch digital instrument display, positioned near the windshield in order to help keep the driver’s eyes on the road ahead. 

Most functions and infotainment are found on the 13.2-inch Ford Digital Experience touchscreen. There is wireless smartphone connectivity, along with Google Built-In technology, which allows drivers to leverage the Google Assistant to set the climate control or access a variety of apps through natural voice commands.   

Expedition Tremor offers seating for up to eight passengers and can hold up to 108.5 cubic feet of cargo with the second- and third-row seats folded flat. Speaking of cargo, loading and accessing gear is easier than ever thanks to Expedition’s new split tailgate. Roughly 60% of the tailgate swings up for quick access, while the lower portion folds down, providing a convenient surface for a variety of tasks, including tailgate season.
